Food Trip Friday---Ampalaya and Misis Edz

Ampalaya (Bitter Melon) I like it sauted with lots of tomatoes and egg. For the health concious, I learned to prepare it with garlic roasted in olive oil.

Misis Edz Chilli Garlic is the best I have ever tasted! Crunchy garlic with Chilli bits in Soy Bean Oil. It goes well with any Filipino dish. Especially grilled.

  15. We call this Bitter Gourd and it is very bitter. How do you get rid of the bitterness?

  16. you can get rid "a bit" of the bitterness by removing the white part when you cut it. Or choose the small ones.
