Mother's Day Treat 2010

The celebration started with 2 kinds of salad, 2 kinds of pasta and 2 rounds of pizza . This one feast I missed with my camera. This was also when we're having a good time with our mom.

At the end of the day, we all went back home to share the cake my Dad bought for my mom. Then, as my Mother's Day treat for everyone, my husband and I bought Starbucks to match our cake.

May 10, 2010  I went to Cubao for an errand. My husband drove for me and to my surprise, it was also his plan to treat me to any restaurant of my choice.

My Ultimate Breakfast Duo

Champorado and Bacon

Champorado or sweet chocolate rice porridge. It's sticky rice mixed with cocoa powder.

Often served hot also cold  with milk and sugar, eaten during breakfast and sometimes as an afternoon snack for the kids. Best served with dried fish called Tuyo.

Since I'm allergic to dried fish, I prefer it with bacon or toasted Spam slices instead. Yum!

Mother's Day Treat From Delifrance

On Mom's very special day, treat her to an elegant brunch at Delifrance! Indulge her with the savory first course of Frittata with Stuffed Tomato, followed by the sweetly satisfying Blueberry Pancakes with Frankfurter and Fruit Plate. All this is served with a Mimosa Mocktail and Bottomless Coffee. Brunch is served on May 9, 2010, from 10 AM to 12 NN.
