An Easy Guide To Kid's Snack

Being a first time parent sending her child to school, one of the things that still confuses me is the list of food to prepare for my child. At first, I thought that pre- packed fruit juices are fine. But early today, during the school orientation, I found out that it is not actually advisable for kids to have them.
The school gave us a list of preferred food and dishes for the child to bring to school and to be eaten at home.
Let me share some of them with you...
Vegetables:
Fresh lumpia
Boiled Potatoes
Baked Potato

Note: Best prepared and served using natural/ fresh ingredients without using any preservatives and too much salt.

sa school din dito nila Patrick, hindi allowed ang softdrinks na baon, another good thing, walang vending machine pati na rin yung mga nagtitinda tinda sa labas ng school.

Gusto ko fresh lumpia, pero I do not know how to make the wrapper. Gusto ko yung parang crepe.

Hindi ako nagpapadala sa mga anak ko ng fruit juices at school, only a (roasted) barley tea.And it's healthy.

Thanks for sharing this list of healthy foods for kids. I will try to prepare foods from this list for my son starting today, especially since he's going to school already on June 17. Our kids need to be healthy, especially with the swine flu threat.
