M.O.B stands for My Own Bag. Every Wednesday, SM Supermarket is going to be using brown paper bags for our purchases. You can also use your own environment-friendly bags for your groceries. This is going to be one of their shares on the preservation of the environment. They are now selling green bags for 35Php. Unlike before, you need to purchase a certain amount and products before you can avail their Green Bag. Thank God they made it easier now.I was in SM Cubao last Wednesday picking up some veggies. Very timely. I have been wanting to experience carrying brown paper bags for my groceries (just like in the movies). Aside from that, I have always been thinking, why not use paper bags instead of plastic.
2 thumbs up for the SM Group of companies! I hope they use it like twice or 3x a week, not only every Wednesday.
